Scott Raskin
CEO
As a dynamic business executive with more than 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry, Scott is strengthening Mindjet´s position as the leading maker of software and on-line services that enable people to visually organize, communicate and act on their ideas.
Scott´s operational expertise, focus on innovative products, and value-added partner initiatives are propelling rapid growth in Mindjet´s increasingly connected and passionate user community. Mindjet´s geographic expansion and product diversification, under Scott´s tenure, has made visual thinking and planning accessible to a much wider audience. Mindjet has sold more than one million global licenses to date.
Scott came to Mindjet after 5 years at Telelogic, where he served Chief Operating Officer. At Telelogic, Scott led the company through several strategic acquisitions and extensive organic growth with more than 1,200 employees and operations in more than 30 countries. Under Scott´s leadership, Telelogic transformed from a Requirements Management and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) company to become the leading global provider of software and services for Enterprise Lifecycle Management (ELM). Recognizing Telelogic´s phenomenal growth and value proposition, International Business Machines (IBM), acquired the company in April 2008 for $845 million.
Before joining Telelogic, Scott held senior marketing, sales and business management roles at Nexgenix, Bachman Information Systems and MAI Basic Four.
Jeremy Jaech
President and CEO, Verdiem
Jeremy Jaech has 20 years of insight, leadership and market-creation strategy behind some of today’s most recognizable software, including Microsoft Visio and Adobe PageMaker. As CEO of Verdiem, Jeremy leads the company’s corporate development and strategy in broadening the company’s impact and seizing evolving market and policy opportunities, with a focus on growing the company’s partner and channel relationships.
Most recently, Jeremy served as co-founder and CEO of Trumba, which makes calendaring web services for companies to manage events online. He also co-founded and served as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Visio, developing the breakthrough technology from 1990 until its acquisition by the Microsoft Corporation in 2000. Jeremy began his entrepreneurial path by founding Aldus Corporation in 1984, the first company to create graphical design software for consumers. On the heels of PageMaker’s success, Jeremy was appointed Aldus’ Vice President of Engineering and oversaw the development of all Aldus products before it was acquired by Adobe in 1994.
Jeremy also serves on the Board of Directors of Doyenz, Trumba, Cozi, and has contributed as a scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory at the Battelle Research Center. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington.
Noah Walley
Managing Director, Investor Growth Capital
Noah Walley leads Investor Growth Capital's Information Technology investing activities in North America. He joined Investor Growth Capital in 2003 as a Managing Director having previously spent five years as a General Partner with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners in New York.
Noah has a J.D. from Stanford Law School and earned M.A. and B.A. degrees (first class) from Oxford University. Noah works out of ICG's New York office and focuses on software and technology-based services investments.
Noah currently serves as a Director on the Board of ContextWeb, ePAC, Foresee Results, Greenway Medical Technologies, Mindjet, ReCellular, Siperian, Tangoe, Venda and Visiprise.
Mike Jetter
Founder
Mike Jetter is the creator of MindManager. His work on MindManager started 1994 in a German cancer ward while he was being treated for leukemia. His intent was to leave behind some kind of legacy - that would make computer use more enjoyable and natural. Consequentially this led to the creation of Mindjet where he hold the position as Chief Technology Officer until 2006.
Together with his wife Bettina, he was awarded the Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Frankfurt, Germany in 2004, in the category of Information Technology. In addition, the Jetters have been recognized for their achievements in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, as well as several other technical publications. In 2003 their story, was published as the book “The Cancer Code – How a Journey Through Leukemia Led to a Software that Changed the Way People Work” (www.cancercode.com).
Mike is in the throes of creating a new company, Coaching Sanctuary. This innovative Web 2.0 application provides a pathway for women over forty to discover and cultivate their true selves. Women are guided through a journey and supported with content and tools that inspire and empower them to live more authentic, fulfilled lives.
Mike Jetter holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich.
